Born to the goddess Latona, Diana helped her mother deliver her twin brother Apollo, as she was born nine days earlier. As a result, the Romans worshipped and prayed to her for conception and safe delivery. As she grew older, she preferred solitude in the forest. She is often depicted with a bow and arrow, signaling her sense of adventure and love for hunting.
